Object-Oriented Software Development Using C#

The University of Central Missouri Object-Oriented Software Development using C# certificate program is designed to help students without prior programming experience gain entry-level development skills needed to launch a career as an application developer. The comprehensive course focuses on Visual Studio Community 2017 IDE and Visual Studio Code to write application code. C# is a foundational language in the .NET suite and can be used in the majority of Microsoft technologies including desktop, mobile, UWP and web. The demand for professionals with this expertise is expected to grow by around 1,457 jobs within the next five years, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Average salary is approximately $99,800. Through this program, students earn a certificate of completion and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.

Learn to build an application and present your creation to clientspeople-working-together-on-computers

You will learn the skills needed to be successful in the rapidly growing technology field and gain hands-on experiences. As a final project, students will build an application requested from a pseudo company and make a presentation to the class in a mock-client scenario.
