Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Misconduct Support and Resources

 

UCM provides support for members of the University community who have experienced discrimination, harassment, or sexual misconduct while also providing an equitable resolution process.  A formal complaint does not need to be filed in order to seek assistance or supportive measures.

 

Support and Accommodations

The Office of Student Experience and Engagement (SEE): In conjunction with the Equity Administrator/Title IX Coordinator or a Deputy Equity Administrator/Title IX Coordinator, SEE will work to ensure appropriate and reasonable supportive measures and accommodations are available, if requested.  If you wish to explore options or request changes to your academic, living, transportation and work accommodations, have missed class or classroom assignments, or attend class with the other party, please speak with SEE about these concerns.

Supportive measures are individualized, offered as appropriate and reasonably available, without unreasonably burdening a complainant or respondent, not for punitive or disciplinary reasons, and without fee or charge. SEE will help coordinate other supportive measures with other UCM offices, including Human Resources, as appropriate.
