Find your Management future at UCM

At the University of Central Missouri, our Department of Management cultivates a dynamic and supportive environment — one centered around our students and based on collaboration through offerings that include:

  • Course projects that build an impressive resume: As part of your coursework, you’ll solve real problems for local partners to gain real-world experience, perhaps managing an event from start to finish. In addition, students completing one of our bachelor’s degrees will work in small groups to launch a business — an initiative that also helps give back to our community.
  • More ways to gain real-world experience: Are you looking for on-the-job training? Complete an optional internship, working with us to find an exciting placement with an organization such as the Kansas City Royals, the Federal Reserve Bank or the St. Louis Chamber of Commerce. You can also expand your cultural awareness — an in-demand skill — when you study abroad with UCM.
  • UCM organizations that enable connections: Student life is thriving at UCM. Participate in one of many student associations specific to business and management and make connections that offer support now and well into the future. Entrepreneurial spirits may join Enactus, for example, while other popular choices include Collegiate DECA, the National Society of Leadership and Success and Delta Sigma Pi.
