Mules Golf opens season with title

Mules golf is off to a strong start in the Fall portion of their 2010-2011 season following a first-place finish Wednesday at the Missouri Intercollegiate Meet in Sunrise Beach, Missouri.

Matt Miller fired a tournament best three-under-par 69 in the final round Wednesday to lead the Mules to a 15 stroke win in the 18-team affair. Miller and Ryne Kloeppel finished in a tie for the individual lead with a two-round mark of three-over-par 147. "Final Results "

The Mules will return to the Lake of the Ozarks next Monday and Tuesday to compete in the Lincoln University Invitational, the first MIAA sanctioned event of the season.

Mules to open MIAA slate Saturday

Mules football makes its 2010 home debut Saturday afternoon hosting the Hornets of Emporia State in the MIAA opener at 2:20 p.m. The game at Walton Stadium-Kennedy Field will be a part of "Get the Red Out" festivities, and features the first game to be televised by the new MIAA TV Network...More Info »

Fans can also listen to each game on 98.5 “The BAR”, 1450 KOKO and www.warrensburgradio.com starting 80 minutes prior to kickoff, as well as 90.9 “The Bridge” starting just prior to kickoff.
