Play in the 2009 NCAA-II South Central Regional is underway at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
The top-seeded Jennies swept past Dallas Baptist in a first-round match on Thursday night, posting a 3-0 victory to advance to Friday's semi-final round.
Paula Harris and Bradye Peniston led UCM with 13 and 12 kills respectively.
The Jennies, who come into the postseason ranked fourth in the latest AVCA D-II Coaches Poll, improved to 33-4 with the opening round win and now get set to battle Pittsburg State on Friday evening at 8:30. Jennies Recap »

Up to the first 500 UCM students to attend the NCAA South Central Regional volleyball tournament will get in free. Central Missouri students must show their student I.D. to receive their free ticket, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Jennies matches in the regional will be broadcast on 1450-AM KOKO and www.warrensburgradio.com.

Jennies basketball made it back to back wins to open the 2009-2010 season Friday afternoon with a 76-59 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
The win on the opening day of the Jennies Classic-presented by Comfort Inn and 1450 KOKO/98.5 THE BAR also produced history, with head coach Dave Slifer becoming the winningest coach (297) in MIAA history.
The Jennies will return to action Saturday evening with a game against Minnesota-Duluth at 6:30 p.m.

Mules basketball picked up the 1500th victory in the program history Tuesday night, posting an 86-51 triumph over Westminster College at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
Sanijay Watts led the way for the Mules in the regular season opener by scoring 21 points and pulling down seven rebounds. Bryce Brunz came off the bench to hit five three-point field goals to finish with 15 points. Mules Recap »

UCM cross country will have one representative at the NCAA-II Championships this Saturday in Evansville, Indiana. Laban Sialo qualified by third at the NCAA-II South Central Regional in Abilene, Texas, on Saturday, Nov. 7th.
