Coach Myers Says: Brandon has had a tough three years here. He was injured as a sophomore and received a medical hardship. Out all last year doing rehabilitation, he was slowed this fall with some tendonitis. He is throwing again and could be ready for the spring.

2008: Sat out recovering from injury.

2007: Started the season 4-0 until going down with a season-ending arm injury and forced to redshirt.

As a Freshman: Earned MIAA Freshman of the Year, second-team All-MIAA, and first-team All-Region honors after going 9-0 with a 2.79 ERA... led the team in wins and ranked second in ERA... threw a seven-inning, two-hit, no-run performance against Minnesota State-Mankato (Mar 24)... had a six-inning, three hit no-run outing against Truman (Apr 14)... got two wins against Washburn and had nine strikeouts in his first win against Mary (Feb 27).

In High School: A two-time all-conference selection at Grain Valley High School, Morris was named all-area in 2004 when he also played on the American Legion All-Star Team and in the American Legion Showcase. He played in the Missouri State Baseball Tournament in 2003 and 2004. Also a three-time all-conference pick in football, he was awarded Grain Valley High School’s Napier Most Valuable Player award in 2003. Morris lettered three times in football, twice in basketball, and three times in baseball.
