Willie Fritz Mules Football Radio Show
KOKO and 98.5 THE BAR will be the place for the Willie Fritz Mules Football Radio Show in 2009
Dates and times for the 2009 Willie Fritz Mules Football Radio Show are now set. The show will once again be hosted by ‘The Voice of the Mules’ Shawn Jones, and 1450-KOKO/98.5 ‘The Bar’ Sports Director Greg Hassler. Bob Showers Financial of Warrensburg will also serve as the title sponsor again this season.
The show will be broadcast on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. during the football season on 1450-KOKO and 98.5 “The Bar”, as well as www.warrensburgradio.com. 11 shows will be broadcast this season. The dates are August 26, September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; October 7, 14, 21, 28; November 4.
Once again, the show will originate from the 1450-KOKO/98.5 “The Bar” studios and fans will have a chance to call the show with live questions for Coach Fritz at (660) 747-9191 or (660) 747-3883. Fans can also e-mail questions to askthecoach@kwkj.com. There will be a trivia contest each week and the winner will receive a prize from UCM football.
In addition to the call-in portion of the show, each program will feature a Mules player profile with 1450-KOKO/98.5 ‘The Bar’ Assistant Sports Director James Sales. He will be sitting down with a member of the team and taking a look at the previous game and a preview of that week’s upcoming contest.
“We’re excited to be able to offer a call-in coaches show to our fans once again this season,” says Jones, UCM Associate Athletic Director and ‘Voice of the Mules’. “Because of Bob Showers Financial, our other terrific sponsors, and partners like KOKO and ‘The Bar’, Mules fans will have the chance to get up to date on UCM Football on Wednesday nights throughout the season.
