Coming back from knee surgery in the fall, got injured against Arkansas Tech… will battle for playing time and a starting berth at wide receiver.

As a redshirt: Received a medical redshirt in 2008 after an injury in the second game of the year... caught two passes for 13 yards.

As a sophomore: Returned kicks and punts... also started three games at wide receiver and had 11 grabs for 105 yards and two touchdowns... both scores came against Concordia-St. Paul as he earned offensive MVP honors... grabbed special forces MVP against Emporia State.

As a freshman: As a true freshman, returned kicks, punts, and saw action at wide receiver... had 12 grabs for 108 yards and returned 12 kickoffs for 225 yards, an 18.8 average... blocked a punt against Lincoln and recovered it for a touchdown, earning special forces MVP... also grabbed special forces MVP for his play against Washburn... qualified for nationals on the UCM 4x100 relay team.

In high school: Head Coach: Chris Allison – Mason was named a class 4A all-state performer at running back for Ozark High School by both the Missouri Football Coaches Association and media... He was first-team all-district and All-Ozarks as well as being named all-state in track as a sprinter... Also earned All-Southwest Missouri Football Coaches Association as both a running back and kick returner.

Personal: Business major ... born February 16, 1987 ... son of Lee Mason and Camber Olsen... also runs track for the Mules.
