The Jennies saw their season come to an end at the hands of a hot shooting Southwest Baptist University squad in first-round action of the Women's MIAA Post-Season Tournament on Thursday evening, March 6th, at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. The 89-80 setback put the finishing touch on the Jennies season with a 14-14 record. Lindsey Maple led four Jennies players in double figures with 20 points in her final appearance in a UCM uniform, while Jojuana Jones capped her Jennies career by establishing a new women's MIAA Tournament record with 21 rebounds, to go along with a 17 point performance. The Jennies had three players receive All-MIAA recognition by the conference coaches. Lindsey Maple was a second-team selection, with Kara Fleming receiving Freshman of the Year honors and named as an honorable mention choice, along with Jojuana Jones, who also was named to the All-Defensive Team.
