The Jennies, who finished 17-11 last season, will have just one preseason game before opening regular season play on Sunday, Nov. 15th, hosting Graceland at the UCM Multipurpose Building at 2 p.m.
The Jennies basketball squad will host a reception for Mule Train members, fans, alumni, and friends after its exhibition contest on Sunday in Columbia at the Sportszone in the Holiday Inn Select, 2200 I-70 Drive S.W.

2009-2010 schedule set
The Jennies and head coach Dave Slifer have a non-conference trip to Miami, Florida on December 17-19, as well as home games against Texas A&M-Kingsville and Minnesota-Duluth November 20-21. In exhibition action, the Jennies will travel to Columbia, Missouri for a battle with the Big XII’s Missouri Tigers on November 8. MIAA play is highlighted by back-to-back contests against MIAA frontrunners Pittsburg State on the road on December 28, and Washburn on January 2 in the Multipurpose Building. 2009-2010 Schedule »
Keister joins coaching staff
Jennies basketball announced the hiring of Josh Keister as the new assistant coach. He is no stranger to head coach Dave Slifer as he spent eight successful seasons under him at Missouri Western State University from 1996-2004.

Kara Fleming was the lone Jennies representative on the 2008-2009 All-MIAA Squad. Fleming, who was the Freshman of the Year last season, is a second-team All-Conference selection in voting by the league coaches. More Info » / All-MIAA Women's Team Info »
