brad loos- Associate Head Coach

Brad Loos begins his eighth season as an assistant coach for the Mules and second as the Associate Head Coach. He came to Central Missouri as a graduate assistant from Austin Peay State in Clarksville, Tennessee before earning the full-time position here at UCM.

Loos has been instrumental in the success of the Mules as part of two Final Fours, two MIAA regular season titles, three MIAA tournament crowns, and four NCAA Tournament appearances. He has recruited numerous All-MIAA and all-region performers, as well as three All-Americans for the program.

In 2001, he served as a student assistant coach at Austin Peay after spending four years as a player for the Governors. Brad’s father, Dave Loos, is the head men’s basketball coach and athletic director at Austin Peay, an NCAA Division I member of the Ohio Valley Conference.

Loos was named to the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll four times as a player, and was the top basketball scholar athlete for three years.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay in May 2002 with a 3.8 grade-point average in Health and Human Performance.

He received a master’s degree from UCM in sports administration in August 2004. He was married in the summer of 2006 to Jennifer, who was formerly a graduate assistant soccer coach at UCM. The couple has a one-year old son, Brady, and another child due in March.
