As a Junior: A Division II Bulletin Honorable Mention All-American (10th All-American in school history)... Only player not in the national championship game to earn Elite Eight All-Tournament Team honors... Named the MVP of the South Central Regional... A first-team All-MIAA and All-South Central Region performer, he started every game but one and led the MIAA in field goal percentage... Scored 30 against Missouri Southern (Dec. 6)... Scored 16 of his 18 points in the second half to defeat Emporia State (Dec 13)... Helped the Mules tally their first win at Fort Hays State (Jan 7) since joining the MIAA with a game high 25 point, eight rebound effort... Set a career-high with 11 boards against Northwest Missouri (Jan 14)... Followed that with a 24-point outing against Missouri Western (Jan 17)... Tallied 22 points against MSSU (Jan 28) the second time around, helping the Mules get revenge... Followed that with a 24 point effort against Pittsburg State (Jan 31) to earn MIAA Player of the Week honors... Put up a 22-point effort against Washburn (Feb 11)... Had his biggest game of the year against Nebraska-Omaha (Feb 18), scoring 32 points on 12-of-14 shooting... On National TV against NWMSU (Feb 21) he scored 21 points to exact revenge on the Bearcats... Scored at least 20 points two times in the South Central Regional, starting the tournament with his third career double-double...
Before UCM: Played for head coach Dale Ribble at State Fair in 2007-08, leading them to an 18-12 overall record… earned honorable mention NJCAA Division I All-American honors as a sophomore, leading the region and ranking 19th in the nation with 22 points per game… He was also named to the Region 16 first-team… averaged eight rebounds to rank fourth in the region, 2.7 assists to rank ninth, and 1.3 steals per game, good for 10th… a 71 percent free throw shooter, he also hit 51 percent from the field… As a freshman, he played at Cowley County Community College and scored 16.3 points per outing, 6.3 rebounds per game, and hit 60 percent from the field… attended Jennings High School in St. Louis where he played for head coach Randy Carter, earning first-team all state and St. Louis Player of the Year... as a senior, he averaged 28.5 points and 10 rebounds per game... during his career there, he scored more than 2,000 points and grabbed more than 500 rebounds.
