Mules host Central Missouri Open

The Mules will compete in the Mizzou Open this Sunday, November 22nd, in Columbia, Missouri.


Mules 15th in pre-season poll

Mules are ranked 15th in the preseason poll by the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association. The three returning All-Americans are all receiving preseason recognition as well, with Cory Bloodgood 4th at 141 pounds, William Forrest 5th at 149 pounds, and Denis Ryzhov 4th at 157 pounds. Head Coach Robin Ersland returns for his 15th season to lead a team returning four national qualifiers and three All-Americans. At last season’s national tournament the Mules finished 18th overall. William Forest and Denis Ryzhov each placed seventh at 149 and 157 respectively, while Cory Bloodgood took eighth at 141. Cody Beck, who took fourth at the Midwest Regionals, also qualified. For his Efforts, Ersland was named Co-Region 2 Coach of the Year along with University of Nebraska-Omaha head coach Mike Denny.
