University Closing Information

The University of Central Missouri campuses in Warrensburg and Lee's Summit will be closed Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, due to inclement weather. University crews will be clearing parking lots and walkways, although many county roads and local streets may be slick. 

Many campus facilities are already operating with an adjusted schedule due to winter break for students from Dec. 16, 2024, through Jan. 12, 2025. Additional operation hours are adjusted during this weather closure, which are listed below. Unless a time is specified, assume a venue is closed:

• The Elliott Student Union, JCK Library, Student Recreation and Wellness Center, University Store and Foster Knox Childcare Center will be closed.
• UCM Dining by Sodexo will operate as follows:
  • Ellis Dining Center and Todd Dining Center are closed for winter break. Retail dining options in the Union, SRWC and JCK Library are also closed.
  • For information about Traditions, SPIN! Pizza and Starbucks at The Crossing, visit the Sodexo at University of Central Missouri Facebook page.
• For athletics information, visit UCMAthletics.com, UCM Athletics on Facebook or @UCMMules on X.

The university is continuing to monitor the weather through the National Weather Service, and we will keep you updated if there are changes that may affect future university operations. We encourage our UCM community to exercise caution given the predicted weather conditions and implement necessary safeguards.
