Esports @ UCM
The UCM Esports team launched in fall 2019. Esports is the fastest growing sport with a global audience reaching almost 500 million fans annually. The program is a member of National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) and will be led by head coach Steve Shattuck. Our teams will compete in Overwatch, League of Legends, and Rocket League in the inaugural year. For Fall 2020, new titles were added as more scholarships became available. UCM's Esports is aspiring to be the greatest program in the region; and to do that, we need the best players. If you think you would be a good fit for our program, please contact us. Esports Games
Overwatch League
The University of Central Missouri Esports Team participates in the Overwatch Tournament that is held by Blizzard. There are currently 8 scholarship positions within our Overwatch Roster.
League of Legends
The University of Central Missouri Esports Team participates in the College League of Legends Tournament that is held by Riot. There are currently 7 scholarship positions within our League of Legends Roster.
Rocket League
The University of Central Missouri Esports Team participates in the NACE Rocket League Tournaments. There are currently 7 scholarship positions within our Rocket League Roster.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
The University of Central Missouri Esports Team participates in the NACE Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournaments. There are currently 4 scholarship positions within our Super Smash Bros Roster.
Rainbow Six Siege
The University of Central Missouri Esports Team participates in CEA, FaceIT, and CR6 Tournaments each semester. There are currently 12 scholarship positions within our Rainbow Six Siege Roster.
NBA 2k21
The University of Central Missouri Esports Team participates in the PlayerLounge Tournaments. There are currently 4 scholarship positions within our NBA 2k21 Roster.
