Missouri Boys State/Girls State Scholarship
For Freshmen Entering UCM Fall 2013
Missouri Boys State/Girls State Scholarship (scholarship application required)
Value: $1500 one-time scholarship (10 scholarships available for Missouri Boys State participants and 10 scholarships available for Missouri Girls State participants)
Eligibility: To be considered, a student must:
- Be an incoming freshman
- Be admitted to UCM as a regularly-admitted freshman (not conditionally-admitted)
- Successfully complete the June 2012 Missouri American Legion Boys State or Girls State Program. Missouri Boys State or Missouri Girls State personnel will be contacted for verification of successful completion.
- Submit the online scholarship application by April 1, 2013
The Missouri Boys State/Girls State Scholarship may be received in addition to other University of Central Missouri funded scholarships.
To Apply: Submit the online scholarship application by April 1, 2013. Missouri Boys State/Girls State Scholarships are competitive and are limited to ten for Missouri Boys State participants and ten for Missouri Girls State participants. Scholarship recipients will be notified by mail at their home address.
Not Renewable: The $1500 value will be divided evenly between the Fall and Spring semesters of the recipient’s freshman year.
