The University of Central Missouri’s main campus is located in Warrensburg, about 50 miles southeast of Kansas City, Mo. This beautiful college campus spans 1,561 acres. It features a perfect blend of state-of-the-art facilities and historic — yet modern — buildings that date back to UCM’s founding in 1871. The Elliott Student Union is the hub of UCM. Head there with friends to watch movies at the Union Cinema, hang out at Starbucks and grab a quick bite to eat at retail restaurants like Chick-Fil-A. You can even go bowling at Union Bowling Center!
You’re required to live on campus your first and second years, and you’ll be so glad you did. It’s a great way to meet new people and be engaged. Plus, students who live on campus are more likely to get involved and to graduate.
Campus life is exciting, thanks to more than 185 student organizations, athletic teams, intramural and club sports and Greek organizations.
Multicultural School
While most UCM students are from Missouri, UCM is extremely diverse and with students from all over the United States and the world.
