The University of Central Missouri’s Electrical Technician course provides students with an intensive overview of skills necessary for everything from electrical maintenance to safety to assembly. Electricity is one of our world’s most important sources of power, and this course helps students enter this growing and stable field. Median pay for electrical technicians is approximately $55,190, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, with job growth estimated at close to 10 percent from 2018-28. Through this program, students earn a certificate of completion and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.
