Recognized program prepares you for a rewarding career in veterinary office

In as little as four months, students completing the University of Central Missouri's Veterinary Receptionist certificate program are prepared to begin a career in this rapidly growing field. The demand for veterinary assistants is expected to grow by 16,000 new jobs by 2026 with the medical office management field experiencing a 22 percent increase in job growth. Veterinary office managers balance care of pets entrusted to them with office management of the animal health facility. Students completing the course are prepared to take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.
