Prior Learning Credit (PLC)

The Prior Learning Assessment is the process used to award credit for prior learning outside of the traditional transfer of credit from one academic institution to another. There are several types of prior learning that can be considered for college credit. If credit is determined to be awarded the major you are pursuing will determine where credit can be applied (general education, electives, core courses, major courses, or free elective credit).
