“I think if we can come together to support our students it just means a greater university for us all - it’s greater for the students, teachers, staff and everyone involved. And hopefully, once students see the support that is behind them, when they become alumni, they then offer that same support to potential students, to new students, to new graduates.”

Personally as a student, I've been in a department that has had multiple individuals who are in teaching roles take the time out of their day to meet with me, to help me with assignments, develop projects and also to help me in the lab learn skills that I otherwise I wouldn't have had the opportunity to learn.”
