Rae Clements

Rachel "Rae" Clements serves as Director of Academic Affairs Operations in the Office of the Provost at the University of Central Missouri. In this role, she supports the day-to-day operations of Academic Affairs and works with academic leaders across the university on budget and resource planning, faculty administration, classroom utilization and course scheduling, administrative processes, and decision support. She regularly analyzes data and policies, solves operational problems, and improves the processes that support UCM's colleges, departments, faculty, and staff.

Rae also provides training and resources throughout Academic Affairs. She created Office Professionals University (OPU), a professional development program designed to strengthen institutional knowledge, collaboration, and connections among the university's office professionals and administrative assistants.

A three-time UCM graduate, Rae has been professionally employed at UCM since 2014 and has been part of the university community since 1999. She also teaches as an adjunct instructor and is actively involved in university service, including committees focused on policy, operations, and shared governance. Her service has included leadership with Staff Council, participation in grant-funded educational projects, and advising Prism, UCM's LGBTQIA+ student organization.
