What you will study
Pursuing agribusiness careers means applying business and economic principles to the
production and marketing of food and agricultural products, as well as the management
of natural resources.
Agribusiness management students take coursework in commodity and futures trading,
distribution and marketing of agricultural products and financial analysis. Practical,
real-world experiential learning is a foundation of the Agribusiness management program.
You’ll take courses such as:
- Agribusiness Management: Choose a company and identify market structures, study product lines and perform SWOT
analyses to define strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
- Agriculture Policy: In this upper-level course, you analyze a bill being debated in the Missouri state
legislature to determine its economic impacts if it becomes law.
