What you will study

Develop the knowledge and skills you need to lead an athletic team or sports organization through activities in and outside of the classroom. Some of our most popular courses include:

  • Introduction to Sport Management: Gain a comprehensive understanding of what sport management is, including concepts, organizational structures and common practices in the industry.  
  • Applied Sport Marketing: Concentrate on core theories and concepts in sports marketing. Then, apply what you learn to develop marketing strategies for professional projects such as marketing consulting for sport organizations, building an athlete brand and sport event case studies.
  • Internship: Gain extensive experience in the field with organizations such as the Kansas City Royals, KC NWSL and the Springfield Cardinals.
