What you will study

Meet Dr. Brandy Lynch
Associate professor and program coordinator, Physical Education
Dr. Lynch has a wealth of teaching experiences in physical education settings. She
is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and holds a Ph.D. in Sport and
Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sport Pedagogy. Students benefit from her vast
knowledge of health concepts and cutting-edge skill-based pedagogical strategies.

Meet Dr. Brad Mears
Professor, Physical Education
Dr. Mears brings years of experience in sports to the physical education classroom.
He has played and coached at every level, including youth sport, high school, college
and professional athletics at the national and international levels. He inspires his
students with his experience and expertise.
Meet Dr. Kenneth Bias
Assistant professor
Dr. Bias earned his B.S. in Physical Education and M.S. in Physical Education Pedagogy
from UCM. Before returning to UCM to teach, he taught for several years in the public
school system. He brings his years of experience in pedagogy, adapted physical education
and sports into the classroom to emphasize the real-world application of the theories
and methods you’ll learn.
