By enrolling in the University of Central Missouri's Bilingual Administrative Assistant with Customer Service Professional certificate program, students learn to work as an integral part of an office team as well as skills essential for entrepreneurs? This comprehensive course prepares students for employment in entry-level office and administrative positions. Included is an entrepreneurial component for individuals wanting to own their own business. You will also be prepared to take the a national certification exam in customer service. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.

Learn to apply excellent customer service, use desktop software and apply administrative solutions in an office environment. Students successfully completing the program are well prepared to take the exam from the National Retail Federation Foundation in Customer Service, earning a national certification. Administrative assistants perform a variety of duties essential to efficiently managing an organization or business. They serve as information and communication managers; plan and schedule meetings and appointments; organize and maintain paper and electronic files; manage projects; conduct research; and disseminate information.
