The University of Central Missouri Digital Media and Design Specialist certificate program prepares students for employment in entry-level positions where they will assist with creating and deploying digital media to support company brands and organizational goals. Students will learn how to create basic websites, practice desktop publishing and photo editing by using tools such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Through this program, students earn a certificate of completion and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.

Students completing this face-to-face course will be prepared to work for organizations that use digital media to work with clients, partners and the community. Areas of technical study include everything from HTML to color separations to creating complex documents. In addition, students will learn the overall job skills to help them be successful at any work environment.
