Learn what it takes to become a respected paralegal and work in office settings in the corporate, government and public arenas. Students are prepared for entry-level positions as well as the national certification. Tuition includes membership in the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), access to the NALA exam review self-study course and a voucher for the certified paralegal exam. In addition, course participants have access to Westlaw for assigned research projects. Westlaw is an online legal research service that provides fast and easy access to an extensive collection of legal resources, news, business and public records information. The demand for paralegals over the next five years is estimated at 1,408. Median pay for paralegals is approximately $50,410, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

This online training program, offered through Ed2Go, prepares students for success in this growing career field. Students will learn about the legal system, how to conduct research and legal interviews and how to perform legal analyses. All materials are included in the cost of this program.
