University of Central Missouri Archives and Museum has much to offer patrons. Whether you are a student, faculty member or the general public the Archives and Museum is a great resource. Collections and artifacts spanning the globe from the Nance Middle East collection and Guatemalan textiles to university history are stored at the Archives and Museum. Stop by and immerse yourself in the histories and cultures of the campus, the community, and the world at large.


McClure Archives and Museum is a member of the American Association for Museums, the Society of American Archivists, and the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries.

The Archives and Museum was named a Commemorative Community for 1994-1995 by the 50th anniversary of WWII Commemorative Committee of the Department of the Army.


Anyone wishing to donate material related to the history of UCM, or items and information to the permanent collection, is welcome to offer donations at the Archives and Museum. Please contact us at 660-543-4649 to make an appointment to discuss your donation. The Archives and Museum does not accept firearms. As required by IRS Rule 170, the Archives and Museum staff cannot appraise donations- please seek a qualified appraiser.
