Theatre - Kindertransport

Date and time: Saturday, 2/22/2014
7:30 PM - 10:00 PM
Location: Highlander Theatre
Description: In the final months before the declaration of WWII, nearly 10,000 unaccompanied Jewish children escaped Germany on trains heading for the freedom of Britain. Most never saw their parents again. KINDERTRANSPORT tells the poignant story of Evelyn, a British woman, and Eva, the German child she used to be. Bear witness to the haunting and vivid mixture of kindness, indifference, occasional exploitation, and the intricate relationship between children and their parents.
