With a passion for research and learning, Dr. Lauren Hays teaches courses in UCM’s Educational Technology program. She earned her BS in Secondary Social Science Education from Oklahoma Baptist University, MS in Library Science from Emporia State University, and MS in Educational Technology from UCM. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning from UCM. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Northwest Nazarene University. Before coming to UCM, Dr. Hays worked as an academic librarian and archives aide at the National Archives and Records Administration. Her research interests include the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, digital literacy, information literacy, and educational development. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
