Pik Wah Lam-Chesnut

Dr. Pik Wah Lam-Chesnut was a general education teacher in Hong Kong teaching English as a Second Language in both elementary and high school. She earned her BA in Language Studies with Business and MA in English Language Studies from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Then she came to the States to learn about Special Education and fell in love with working with learners with special needs. She earned her MEd in Special Education from the University of Oklahoma and PhD from Texas Tech University. She was certified as a BCBA in 2015. Since then, Dr. Lam-Chesnut has been teaching ABA VCS and special education courses, and working with public schools and clinics closely to provide services to children with special needs in school, clinic, and home settings. She joined UCM in Fall 2023 to teach ABA and Special Education courses.
