Dr. Aijing Feng joined the Department of Computer Science and Cybersecurity at UCM from the
University of Missouri-Columbia, where she earned her Ph.D. in Bioengineering and
subsequently worked as a scientist at the Bond Life Sciences Center. Prior to that,
she received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from South China Agricultural
University.
Dr. Feng's research interests span computer vision, machine learning, deep learning,
remote sensing, and bioinformatics. She has authored many research papers in leading
journals, including as first author in Nature Communications. She also serves as a
peer reviewer for reputed publication venues such as Frontiers in Plant Science, Computers
and Electronics in Agriculture, Biosystems Engineering, Precision Agriculture, and
Microbiology Spectrum.
Dr. Feng has three years of experience teaching courses in Digital Circuit and Digital
Logic, Databases, and C Programming Language, before joining UCM.
