Research Areas: Usable Privacy and Security, Human-Computer Interaction.
Dr. Haque received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, USA. His research interests lie in the areas of Usable Privacy and Security, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Information and Communication Technology and Development (ICTD). He has contributed almost 30 peer-reviewed publications so far in these areas, including the topmost venues in HCI (CHI and CSCW), Usable Security (SOUPS), and ICT for Development (ICTD). He has won multiple SIGCHI (CHI 2024 Best Paper Award, CHI 2021 Honorable Mention Award) best paper awards. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
