Dr. Chen Zhou

Dr. Zhou graduated from Capital Medical University in 2007 and obtained his Ph.D. in
Chemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2013. He joined University of Central
Missouri in Fall 2013 with his primary teaching areas focused on general chemistry and
analytical chemistry. With more than 50 published scientific papers and over 3,500 citations, Dr.
Zhou’s research interests lie in the broad areas of nano-material synthesis and the exploration of
their applications in biomedical, environmental, and energy fields. Students interested in research
