Dr. Richard Bruce

Dr. Richard Bruce joined the faculty in 2020 after serving as Workforce & Professional Development Director at The Builders' Association in Kansas City. Prior to that, Richard worked in such roles as assistant professor, design consultant, assistant superintendent, and purchasing agent in the residential and commercial building industry. Dr. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from the University of Kansas; a Master of Science in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Construction Management from UCM; and a Ph.D. in Technology Management with a concentration in Construction Management from Indiana State University. Dr. Bruce teaches Construction Plans and Specifications, Estimating, Mechanical Systems, and Principles of Construction Management.
