UCM Founders Day Birthday Bash
Founded in 1871, the University of Central Missouri is one of the oldest universities in the state and has a rich heritage of helping students achieve success for more than 150 years. Students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate UCM’s founding day each April with our annual Birthday Bash featuring events at both the Warrensburg and Lee’s Summit campuses!

Wednesday, April 24 | 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. | UCM Quad
- Picnic lunch and birthday cake
- Music by UCM Bands and The Beat
- Caricature artists
- Games and 360 photo booth
- Appearances by President Best, Mo the Mule and our live mules
LEE’S SUMMIT
Thursday, April 25 | 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. | MIC main lobby, 1101 NW Innovation Parkway
- Birthday cupcakes, cookies and fruit
- Music by UCM's The Beat
- Caricature artists
- Games and 360 photo booth
- Appearances by President Best, Mo the Mule and our live mules
Free UCM flags will be handed out at each event while supplies last!
Plus, there will be voting stations where you can choose your favorite Homecoming theme for 2024.
