Meet the Faculty

Dan Jensen, Eh.D. - New to the University of Central Missouri in fall 2014, Jensen will be teaching courses in strategy, entrepreneurship and social enterprise. Recently, he was on faculty and served as the director of professional development for the Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst University.

Prior to entering higher education, Dan worked with ESI International, a global training firm, where he was praised for his experiential designs. While with ESI, he facilitated learning experiences internationally for the Fuji-Xerox Leadership Institute, and across the United States for NATO, the Department of Defense, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Cisco Systems, MetLife, and other major corporations, nonprofits and governmental agencies

Eric M. Nelson, Ph.D. - Building Leadership Credibility - has 13 years of corporate experience working in management development training and organizational development. In Germany, he focused on outside sales training and sales management development for Safety-Kleen Corporation. He worked as a strategic planning consultant, with the majority of his experience focused on leadership development Fortune for 500 companies such as Motorola, Grumman, Safety-Kleen, Case and the University of Chicago Hospital.
Nelson is best characterized as a training and development specialist with interests in all of the functional areas of a business.

Degree: Ph.D. in Education specializing in Workforce Training, University of Illinois. Nelson has taught at the University of Central Missouri, University of Illinois, Saint Michael’s College and Norwich University.

Keith Province - Innovation for Strategic Advantage - has more than 20 years of management experience with Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurial ventures including Procter and Gamble, Coca-Cola USA and CROSSMARK. He has extensive experience and expertise in consumer package goods, telecommunications, retail, restaurants, financial services and start-ups. Province’s community service and leadership expertise includes serving on the advisory boards of Students In Free Enterprise, University of Central Missouri Foundation and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Degree: MBA and BSBA in Management, University of Central Missouri

Province has taught at the University of Central Missouri.

Alaina Zanin Ph.D. -Zanin can assist with increasing skill in leadership and organizational communication (e.g., impression management, communication competence, political skill, negotiation, conflict resolution, sales, work-life balance, issues of power control and resistance).
