Students must maintain a graduate GPA of at least 3.00 to remain in good academic standing. Once your cumulative graduate GPA falls below 3.00, you will be placed on probation. If your cumulative graduate GPA remains under 3.00 for three consecutive semesters (including summer), you will be ineligible to receive a degree from UCM.
All students must earn a grade of C or above for every course listed on an approved Program of Study and a maximum of six credit hours with a grade of C may be applied toward your degree.
An instructor may report a semester mark of U when, for justifiable reasons, the student has not completed the work of the course. At the end of the following semester, the U becomes an F unless the requirements of the course have been satisfactorily completed or the course is of an individualized nature, e.g., thesis, research report, or similar investigation.
