Students must maintain a graduate GPA of at least 3.00 to remain in good academic standing. Once your cumulative graduate GPA falls below 3.00, you will be placed on probation. If your cumulative graduate GPA remains under 3.00 for three consecutive semesters (including summer), you will be ineligible to receive a degree from UCM.

All students must earn a grade of C or above for every course listed on an approved Program of Study and a maximum of six credit hours with a grade of C may be applied toward your degree.

U Grades

An instructor may report a semester mark of U when, for justifiable reasons, the student has not completed the work of the course. At the end of the following semester, the U becomes an F unless the requirements of the course have been satisfactorily completed or the course is of an individualized nature, e.g., thesis, research report, or similar investigation.

Checking Your Grades

To check your grades, log in to MyCentral. Click on View Grades, then log in by entering your student number and your Password. Grades are posted on the Thursday of the week following final exams.

Only current semester grades are viewable on MyCentral, therefore if you need grades for other semesters, contact the Registrar's office.

Instructors may post grade information on the Blackboard throughout the semester. However, the only official grades are those posted through MyCentral.
