Dr. Paravastu received his Ph.D. from Drexel University, Philadelphia. His teaching interests are in OO Programming, Web-development including client-side and server-side scripting, Database design and administration, and Information Systems Security. He has taught these courses at the Masters and Bachelors for more than a decade. His research interests are in the areas of IT Outsourcing, Technology Trust, Trust in Information Systems and IT Strategy, and IS Security. He has published in several peer-reviewed MIS journals and has presented his research in several regional and national level conferences.
