Dr. Ma, Professor of Computer Information Systems and Analytics, received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, and MBA from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, IL. His research interests include information technology adoption/diffusion, electronic commerce, and information security management. His articles have appeared in The Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Information & Management, International Journal of Healthcare Technology and Management, Journal of Organizational and End User Computing, and Database of Advances. He presented numerous papers at the America's Conference on Information Systems, Decision Sciences Institute Annual Meetings, and Security conference. Dr. Ma has strong interest in teaching-oriented academic research. His teaching interests include Systems Analysis and Design, Data Resource Management, Business Intelligence, Management of Information Systems, Database Management Systems, and Cloud-based Application Development. Dr. Ma is a certified Solutions Architect by AWS and an Accredited Educator by AWS academy. He is also the Central Point of Contact for AWS academy at the University of Central Missouri.
