Adam Horn teaches and practices public relations, making sure to bridge the divide between the classroom and marketplace. His longtime consulting services for NASCAR, and other professional athletic organizations, increase the educational opportunities offered by the UCM PR program. Horn’s professional experiences with media relations, professional writing and editing for organizations, and celebrity interactions are part of specialized program high impact courses such as Global Sports PR, Strategic Thinking and Research for PR, and Media Training.
Horn is an accomplished author. Passionate about strategy and strategic thinking, Horn is second author of Public Relations, Cases and Theory (Peter Lang Publishers, 2018) and Strategic Planning: Beginning the Journey (Peter Lang Publishers, 2014). A member of the 2016 Greater KC PR Team of the Year, Horn also serves the national PRSA as a CEPR reviewer. He is a member of the UCM graduate faculty and a UCM senate representative.
