Spirit Windows Contest

The Spirit Windows Contest consists of an organization decorating a canvas that will be placed in a window in the UCM Union.  The paintings should reflect the Homecoming theme.

1. Decorating will take place on Monday, Oct. 2 and Tuesday, Oct. 3 during hours of 7:00am-11:00pm at the Student Recreation & Wellness Center, lower courts.
2. Judging will take place on Monday, October 9th.
3. A canvas will be supplied for each group registered. Each group will need to bring their own paint and brushes.  We will also supply the tarps and rinse water plus paper towels.
4.  A designated wash station will be provided.
5. Your completed canvas will be hung in a window down the traditional hallway in the Elliott Union.  At the completion of Homecoming your organization may pick up your canvas in the Student Activities Office the following Monday. If after one week you have not picked up your canvas it will be recycled.
6. Organizations should not paint anything inappropriate on the canvas.  

   *You must get your designed approved by the Office of Student Activities before you start painting.  Designs MUST BE approved on September 21st from 12-5 p.m.

7. When design is approved you will pick your window. 
8. The use of an overhead projector is NOT allowed!
