Alpha Phi Omega
The Alpha Phi Omega group met at Achauer House for the Homecoming Alumni Tailgate and headed to Audrey J. Walton Stadium to watch the Mules football game.
All Greek Reunion
Friday, Oct. 23 members met with their collegiate members at the Chapter Open House.
Saturday, Oct. 24 members attended the alumni breakfast and watched the parade at Selmo Park. Following the parade Greek members ate lunch at the All Greek Tailgate and cheered on the Mules at the Homecoming game.
Sigma Pi Gamma Gamma
The Sigma Pi Gamma Gamma group met at the BSU Parking Lot at 8 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, for tailgate and the homecoming parade. After the game, there was a postgame BBQ at the fraternity complex, Unit A.
1986, 1987, 1988 Mules Football Teams
The UCM/CMSU Alumni Band on Saturday, October 23 participated in the parade and football game.
NEW THIS YEAR - the Alumni Band had a luncheon ($10 pp) from 11:30-1:00 p.m. in the Union. There was also a special Alumni Band introduction on the 50 just prior to the Marching Mules’ Halftime Show.
American Marketing Association
The American Marketing Association (AMA) student chapter at
the University of Central Missouri celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the American Marketing
This event was an opportunity to connect with AMA alumni and
current AMA student members, as well as current and past faculty
and staff. Hors d’oeuvres were provided and each attendee received a small gift. There was no cost associated with the event or gift.
The Black Alumni had a catered meet & greet at the Warrensburg Elks Lodge, a catered tailgate before the game, and an Alumni Black Out party in the American Legion building. A portion of all proceeds went to the UCM Black Alumni Scholarship Fund. The group joined alumni, fraternities, sororities, and past and current students in the parade to represent UCM Black Alumni, had a Step Show in Hendricks Hall, and ended the weekend with a worship service in the UCM Chapel.
Baptist Student Union
BSU had their reunion on Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Warrensburg.
Construction Management Alumni had an Industry Roundtable in the COT Building Friday afternoon, a SOCM event after, and concluded the evening with an informal gathering at Heroes Restaurant.
The Football lettermen met at the Markey Lobby in Walton Stadium for appetizers and drinks on Friday.
Omega Psi Phi
Omega Psi Phi gathered again at Homecoming on Friday, Oct. 22 and Saturday, Oct. 23. They met in the University Conference Center, Ozark Room from 3 to 11:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 22. The group tailgated prior to the football game on Saturday, Oct. 23 in the parking lot south of the police academy.
Pecan Bowl alumni had a reception in Markey Lobby at Walton Stadium in Friday. A special recognition was given at halftime during the Mules football game.
Sigma Tau Gamma Alumni & Friends
The Alpha Chapter Alumni Association and undergraduate chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma gathered during Homecoming 2010 in Warrensburg. The events were opportunity to see the upgrades to the chapter house and visit with friends new and old, and included an alumni meet-up in the new Old Barney's, a Homecoming parade at the National Headquarters, and a barbecue on the front lawn of the Sigma Tau Gamma House at 708 South Holden.
Activities included a golf tournament at Hidden Pine Country Club Friday, Oct. 22, and getting together Saturday morning on the president's lawn across the street from the Smiser Alumni Center to watch the Homecoming Parade.
Tau Kappa Epsilon
On Saturday, the group met to watch the parade at 9:00 a.m. at 314 S. Holden. After the parade there was brief meeting of the Alumni Board at Unit F. At noon, they had their annual lunch ($10 per person) with the alumni, actives and guests. During lunch the undergraduates sold chances on a TKE letterman’s jacket like the ones the chapter had back in the 60’s and early 70’s. All of the money went to the Laura Culp/Kati Fisher scholarship fund to help an undergraduate Frater with the cost of school. The TKE bell once again was in the south end zone during the football game. After the game they met up at Old Barney’s.
Sigma Sigma Sigma
The sisters of Sigma Sigma Sigma reunited in Warrensburg, MO for UCM’s Homecoming for their 95th anniversary. The events included a gathering at Heroes Restaurant Friday evening, an open house at Panhellenic Saturday morning, and a lunch in the afternoon.
Elliott Union Employees
All current and former Elliott Union employees and their families were invited to campus Saturday, Oct. 23, for breakfast under the tent and to watch the Homecoming Parade together. The tent was located in the grassy area on the east side of Holden Street, just north of Clark Street. Seating was provided.
Yeater Hall Celebration
Former residents of Yeater Hall met for a reception following the UCM Homecoming Parade to celebrate 70 Years.
Grilling & Chillin with the UCM Aggies. The UCM Agriculture department hosed a tailgate party at 11:30 a.m. in the UCM parking lot 67 across from the Physical Plant. An open house was hosted in the Muleskinner offices on Friday, October 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. To find the Muleskinner offices take the elevator to the third floor of the Wood Building.The Muleskinner office is the second door on the left.There is a 10-foot long sign with the paper's logo in the hall.
Nursing 50-Year Reunion

Sigma Kappa’s met at the Smiser Alumni Center at 8 a.m. for breakfast and to assemble for the parade.Those who chose to walk in the parade gathered at the multipurpose building for parade line up.Anyone who wanted to watch the parade together was invited to sit together at Selmo Park, the president’s lawn.Some seating was provided.
The One & Only Singers 40 Year Reunion
We celebrated the 40th anniversary of The One & Only Singers (1969 through early 1980s). All past Singers were invited to a Homecoming reception on Saturday, October 10, 2010, from 11 AM-3 PM in the Elliott Union, Room 117. The event included group singing, a buffet and cash bar, and a chance to relive old memories with special friends.

Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) alumni were invited back to campus for Homecoming activities on October 10, 2010. For the parade at 9 a.m., we gathered at 314 S. Holden and then held and11 a.m. meeting in Section F of the Fraternity Complex followed by acatered barbeque atnoon. We welcomed fellow TKE member, Robert Buhrkuhl back to campus as the 2010 Distinguished Alumni. We then watched the Mules take on Fort Hays Tigers at 1:30 p.m. After the game, we met at Fan Club at 146 W. Pine.

The Department of Agriculture is sponsoring a tailgate for their alumni and Missouri agriculture educators from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in parking lot 67. Bring your lawn seats and a good appetite. We will be serving hamburgers and hotdogs with plenty of beverages. The event is free but RSVPs are requested. 1956 Football Team Reunion
The 1956 Mules' football team gave Central Missouri its first MIAA football title since 1926. Coached by Lew Comer, the Mules produced a 7-2 overall record and shared the MIAA title with Missouri-Rolla with a 4-1 league record. The Miners spoiled the Mules' Homecoming game with a 29-27 victory that prevented the Mules from winning the MIAA title undefeated. The team was inducted into the Central Missouri State University’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997.
