University of Central Missouri (UCM) Parking Services is excited to announce a partnership
with the UCM Campus Cupboard to launch a Citation Amnesty Program running from Nov.
18-22, 2024. This initiative allows students, faculty, staff and members of the public
to support a great cause while resolving outstanding parking citations.
During this weeklong program, individuals can donate non-perishable food items to
Campus Cupboard in lieu of paying or appealing up to two qualifying parking citations
received before Nov.1, 2024. Donations will only be accepted at the front desk of
the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
Qualifying Citations and Donation Requirements
The following citations are eligible for the program and require the specified number
of items to clear the citation:
- Fail to Display Valid UCM Permit: 8 non-perishable items
- Expired UCM Permit Displayed: 8 non-perishable items
- Improper Parking: 4 non-perishable items
Non-Eligible Citations
The program excludes the following violations:
- No Accessible Permit Displayed
- No Service Vehicle Permit Displayed
Donation Guidelines
To participate, all donated food must be non-perishable, in-date, and not expired. Any items that fail to meet these criteria will not be accepted.
Make an Impact
This initiative not only helps clear parking citations but also contributes to the
vital mission of Campus Cupboard, which supports UCM community members facing food
insecurity.
