UCM Theatre and Dance Presents ‘Final Call: Senior Showcase 2025’

The University of Central Missouri (UCM) Division of Theatre and Dance presents “Final Call: Senior Showcase 2025” at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30 at the Nickerson Black Box Theater on the first floor of Nickerson Residence Hall


This year's showcase features performers presenting a variety of songs, monologues and scenes to highlight the culmination of their collegiate theatre careers. The showcase includes seniors Alannah Trigg (Musical Theatre), Wesley Freeman (Theatre Design/Technology), Rosalyn Schuster (Musical Theatre and Digital Media Production minor), Kayla Addison (Musical Theatre), Dmitry Crawford (Musical Theatre), Molly Blackburn (Theatre Design/Technology and Digital Media Production minor), Quinn Allen (Performance and Digital Media Production minor) and Finn Juliano (Theatre Performance and Digital Media Production minor). 


Jenise Cook, assistant professor of Theatre-Performance, serves as director and coordinator of the showcase and Denise Robinson is the musical accompanist.


Admission is free. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. for Theatre Design/Technology majors to showcase their portfolios and design work and for audiences to view performer headshots and resumes. Parking is available at the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center and outside Nickerson Hall. 


UCM Theatre and Dance has one more production remaining in the 2024-25 “Perfectly Marvelous” season: “Cabaret,” which will run April 11-13 and 17-19 in the Highlander Theatre. The School of Visual and Performing Arts will also host the President’s Gala on Tuesday, April 22 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City. The event will showcase students’ work from the school’s three areas of study – Art and Design, Music, and Theatre and Dance – and renowned Kansas City performer Jan Kraybill.
