New research by a University of Central Missouri faculty member uses an innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technique to allow physicians to predict which patients are at low risk of distant metastasis in order to help minimize radiation’s severe side effects.

Furedy Becomes Interim Chair of UCM's School of Aviation

The Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies has announced that Dr. Matthew Furedy will serve as the new interim chair for the University of Central Missouri's School of Aviation. Dr. Furedy has more than 15 years of experience within aviation. He served as an airport inspector and the State Aviation Manager for the Nevada Department of Transportation for nine years before joining UCM.

As part of the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the United States National Park Service is awarding the University of Central Missouri McClure Archives and University Museum a $90,000 grant to assist in the consultation, documentation, and repatriation of ancestral remains and cultural items.

These films will air nightly at 5 p.m. beginning Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24 on KMOS Emerge 6.3.
