Support for Hendricks Hall Renovation Project Gains Momentum

Dedicated in 1923, Hendricks Hall, the historic auditorium on the campus of the University of Central Missouri, has served the campus and community with timeless architecture and design features that make it unique. In an effort to preserve the historic aspects of the auditorium while creating a state-of-the-art performance venue for UCM, Warrensburg and the surrounding area, The Hendricks Hall Renovation Project remains a priority as fundraising gains momentum.

Central Missouri Repertory to Present Original Children's Play

The Central Missouri Repertory Theatre at the University of Central Missouri will present the world premiere of the children's play "Once in the Time of the Rainbow Crow" by Claudia I. Haas this summer at locations throughout west-central central Missouri during June.The performance is under the direction of John Wilson, professor of theatre and chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance.

S&P's 'A+' Bond Rating Reflects UCM's Strong Credit Fundamentals

A positive indication of the University of Central Missouri’s financial stability and ability to manage credit came in May as Standard & Poor’s Global ratings announced it has revised UCM’s rating on Missouri Health & Educational Authority’s bonds from "A" to “A+." This applies to the security for the series 2012A revenue bonds, which were issued to refinance the University Housing system energy savings project and library facility construction; series 2013B-2 bonds issued for improvements at Audrey J. Walton Stadium at Vernon Kennedy Field; and series 2013C-2 educational facilities revenue bonds to help construct The Crossing–South at Holden student housing-retail project.

Mules Baseball Claims 17th Regional Crown with 7-4 Win over Arkansas-Monticello

The ninth-ranked Mules captured the 2016 Central Region championship with a 7-4 win over Arkansas-Monticello on Monday afternoon at Joe Faber Field. It is the 17th regional crown in program history and the Mules advance to next week's NCAA-II World Series in Cary, North Carolina for the first time since 2011.

Citing factors that include excellent accommodations and great staff service, Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) has selected the University of Central Missouri as the site for its 2016 International Student Convention (ISC). The event takes place Saturday through Thursday, May 21-26, and will bring more than 2,100 students ages 13-19 from 26 different countries to UCM for a week of fun, educational and competitive activities.

After an extensive one-year, multi-million dollar renovation project, the University of Central Missouri is celebrating a new chapter in the history of Keth Memorial Golf Course through the grand opening of Mules National Golf Club Friday, May 27, at 5 Par Drive in Warrensburg. The celebration gives people an opportunity to see the professional quality golf facilities, along with Traditions Restaurant and the Audrey J. Walton Clubhouse at Pertle Springs, which are part of Mules National.
