December 09, 2021University of Central Missouri Theatre and Dance will present the 2015 Tony Award-winning drama, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.” Based on the best-selling book of the same name written by Mark Haddon and adapted for the stage by Simon Stephens, this play follows a neurodivergent boy as he tries to solve the mystery concerning the death of his neighbor’s dog.
October 06, 2021University of Central Missouri Theatre and Dance has announced the availability of 2021-2022 season tickets through Oct. 16. After a year of limitations to live performance, UCM Theatre and Dance is excited to invite the community back into the theater and be “Live On Stage!”

Virtual Doors open 15 minutes prior to start time, and no tickets or reservations are needed.

Highlander Theatre. While the series is performed on stage, and admission is free, presentations also will be available via livestream for those who would like to experience the series remotely. This weekend, the series will feature 11 new works written by current UCM students.

Studio Theatre One-Acts are student produced and student directed short plays. The virtual “doors” open at 7:15 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. This production will steam virtually via YouTube. Admission to view the production is free.
