The documentary film, “Stewart Udall: The Politics of Beauty,” will be shown at 2 p.m. Monday, March 27, in Elliott Student Union, Room 238, at the University of Central Missouri. This free presentation is open to everyone, and will be followed by a brief chat with the film’s director, John de Graaf.

UCM Students Capture Third Place in Kansas City Fed Code-A-Thon

A three-member team of students from the University of Central Missouri won third place in the seventh annual Kansas City Fed Code-A-Thon. Awards were presented on March 10. This highlighted competitive efforts that began with a two-day virtual event Feb. 23-24 in which the team was charged with developing software solutions to solve meaningful real-life problems, followed by a presentation on Feb. 26 to demonstrate their solution.

WARRENSBURG, MO – As part of the Distinguished Speaker Series, the University of Central Missouri will present “An Evening with Ravi Sharma, A Talk about Mental Health Awareness and Support Strategies” featuring Ravi Sharma, a mental health activist, investor, and four-time entrepreneur. His free presentation is open to the public, and will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, March 20, in Hendricks Hall. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

This prestigious annual event was hosted by Illinois State University, Normal, Illinois, and included 120 student participants.

Students selected will attend the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District’s Summit Technology Academy for a half day during their junior year, returning to their home schools for the remainder of the day.
